Well today there was no school because of snow so i had time to actually practice putting in a tampon. So i finally get one in. and it kind of hurt at first but then it was painless. i put a pad on just in case of a leak. After about 2 hours of playing outside i go to my friends house and go to b, room. the tampon leaked and the pads saved my pants. so i run home and get a new tampon in. and an extra pad again. after about 3 hours the tampon is full and the pads are still pretty clean? is this going to happen again at school??? im already 3 days into my period. will it be that bad at school?
What I always did , which worked really well was put a tampon in in the morning, and put on a decently heavy pad, also. Halfway through the day, I went to the bathroom (NO PURSE NEEDED-YAY) and pulled out the tampon (and the pad was still clean) and then just wore the bad until I went home. no purse and no worry of leakage. yay
